Lauren Capper Slepian

Lauren Capper Slepian serves as the Director of Customer Insights and Performance at American Water, where responsibilities include leading the Voice of the Customer program and synthesizing performance data. Formerly, Lauren held positions such as Director of Communications and Chief of Staff, focusing on digital strategy, executive coordination, and operational excellence. Additionally, Lauren is the Ethics Committee Chair for USA Field Hockey and a Board Member of the Camden Special Services District. Previous roles include Communications and Digital Marketing Lead at Leonardo and Campaign Manager for a North Carolina Congressional Campaign. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
