Matthew Hobbs

Matthew Hobbs, PE serves as the Director of Engineering at American Water since February 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at HNTB from 2006 to February 2023, holding the position of Associate Vice President and Water/Wastewater Section Manager. Matthew began their career at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources as a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer from 2004 to 2006. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University.
