Shashwat (Shash) Davé possesses extensive experience in enterprise risk management and governance across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Risk, Governance, and Corporate Strategy at American Water since September 2021, Shash leads the Enterprise Risk program for a publicly-traded Fortune 500 company. Previously, Shash held the position of Executive Director of Enterprise Risk & Governance at ridgbak, where assistance was provided to organizations in making informed long-term decisions. Shash also served as Chief Financial Officer for Hawke's Bay Regional Council, managing substantial corporate finance functions, and as Program Manager for Enterprise Risk Management at onsemi, where a global risk management program was developed. Additional roles included Senior Director of Risk Management at KATERRA and Global Risk Manager at The Cigna Group, overseeing significant risk portfolios. Shash holds a Master's degree in Behavioral and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Finance and Risk Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
