Sohail Akhtar

Sohail Akhtar is an experienced finance and consulting professional specializing in SAP FICO solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Engineer at American Water since March 2025, Sohail leads the Record-To-Report workstream and oversees various RTR projects on ECC 6. Past roles include Senior FICO Consultant positions at Edgewell Personal Care and SC Johnson, where Sohail contributed to process improvements and global rollouts, respectively. Earlier experience at Accenture involved managing S/4HANA projects for General Atomics, while Sohail also held significant positions at NTT Data North America, Neuberger Berman, and PVH Corp., focusing on full-life cycle implementations and functional leadership in SAP projects. Sohail holds an MBA in Finance from St. John's University and a BBA in Finance from Rutgers University.
