Mario Caja

Mario Caja is an experienced professional in consulting and manufacturing, currently serving as Managing Partner at Great Western Holdings, LLC since February 2022, and as President of Caja Enterprises since March 2014. Mario also holds the position of 1st Vice-Chair at the American Welding Society since March 2021. Previous roles include Adjunct Welding Instructor at Pellissippi State Community College from May 2017 to May 2023, and Head of Welding and Fabrication at I&I SLINGMAX from November 2017 to January 2022. Mario's extensive background in engineering and operations includes serving as Director of Engineering and Operations at Electrochemical Systems, Inc. from September 2002 to December 2013, and as a Designer/Project Manager at the same company from 1998 to 2002. Early career experience includes work as a Designer/Developer at Molten Salt Technology, Inc. from 1994 to 1996. Mario's educational qualifications include a degree in Welding Technology and Engineering from Pellissippi State Community College and studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, along with a diploma from Farragut High School.
