Steve Suter

Steve Suter is the current 2nd Vice Chair at PROVAIL. Steve has also served as the President & Chief Executive Officer at Healthcare Management Administrators from October 2014 to May 2020. Steve has also been a Chief Operating Officer, Payment Integrity at Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company from November 2010 to September 2014.

Steve has played a key role in developing and executing strategy across Optum Insight, Rx and Health. Steve has also successfully driven succession strategy and cultivated the development of several senior leaders.

Steve Suter holds an MBA from Strome College of Business and a master's degree in business administration from James Madison University. Steve also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes CPCU Society.
