Mark Swinton

Mark Swinton is an experienced professional in the welding and construction industry, currently serving as a Boilermaker Superintendent at the American Welding Society since June 2021. With a diverse background, Mark has held roles including Coxswain for Neptune Marine Services while overseeing maintenance at the South 32 GEMCO Wharf, and has worked on significant projects such as RIO TINTO BECTEL AMRUN at DECMIL and various operations for Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance at Monadelphous. Mark’s expertise also spans positions with Norship Marine, Maxitool Group, Rio Tinto, Clough, Fuelfix & Tanks2Go, and McMahons, contributing skills in boilermaking, fitting, welding, and scaffolding. Mark holds multiple qualifications, including certifications in boiler making, rigging, heavy equipment operation, and project management from TAFE NSW and OTEN, complemented by a Diploma in Materials Science from WTIA.
