Heather Lorenzo M.D., Facp

Heather Lorenzo MD FACP is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Managing Physician at Persona Doctors since February 2018 and as an Urgent Care Telemedicine Physician at Amwell since March 2020. Previously, Heather held several leadership roles at Meritus Health, including Chief Medical Officer, Physician Advisor to Care Management, and Chief Medical Information Officer from March 2010 to November 2017. Heather also served as Medical Director Hospitalists and Hospitalist at Inpatient Specialists from August 2004 to February 2010. In the United States Air Force from July 2000 to June 2004, Heather was the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency and Chief of Residents. Education includes a Doctorate in Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine and an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Wright Patterson Medical Center, following a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University.
