Ken Melms

Ken Melms is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience across various roles in software engineering, data analytics, and engineering leadership. As a Principal Engineer at Amwell since August 2022, Ken focuses on enhancing the data analytics and AI capabilities of the telehealth platform. Prior to this, Ken was a Senior Principal Technologist Director at Evernorth, a Cigna brand, and has held positions at ESPN, where project contributions improved satellite data management, and at FAST/SCK, where automation software was developed. Ken also has entrepreneurial experience as the CEO of Forged Reality, a 3D gaming startup, and has worked as a consultant and engineer in diverse industries. Ken's foundational education in technology was obtained at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1989.
