Steve Kaupp

Steve Kaupp is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Head of Procurement at Amwell since July 2020. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions at notable companies, including the Boston Consulting Group, where Steve built and led global sourcing opportunities for technology across 90 offices, achieving significant annual savings. Steve also demonstrated expertise in indirect spend strategic sourcing at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, managing substantial budgets and implementing efficient vendor management programs. With a career spanning over two decades, Steve has a strong background in IT strategic sourcing and financial analysis, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UMass Boston.
