Catherine Mouly

Catherine Mouly has an extensive background in the arts and education, currently serving as a Board Member for the American Writers Museum since April 2017 and as a Trustee for Goodman Theatre since March 2009. A Life Member of the Visiting Committee to The Division of the Humanities at the University of Chicago since September 1990, Catherine also has prior experience as a Lecturer in Romance Languages at the University of Chicago and as an Adjunct Writing Instructor at Columbia College Chicago. Additionally, Catherine held the role of Writing Preceptor at the University of Chicago, advising students on academic writing from September 1979 to August 1982, and was a Poetry Co-Editor for Chicago Review from 1977 to 1979. Catherine earned a PhD in Comparative Studies in Literature from the University of Chicago and a BA in Psychology and Social Relations/General Studies from Harvard University.
