Grove Mower

Grove Mower has worked in the securities business in New York and Chicago since 1982, and is presently the Managing Partner of Hummer Mower Associates, a financial advisory and planning firm in Chicago, Il. He joined the board of the American Writers Museum in 2019, and is also a trustee of The Ragdale Foundation, an artist residency in Lake Forest, Il. He resides in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Brooke, is the proud father of two twenty-something sons, Chapin and Ned, and a corona rescue puppy aptly named Vino. Grove holds dual degrees in English and Political Science from Brown University. He is the author of the coming-of age novels Forty Rod Road and Hope.
