Adirek Janwong is a highly experienced process engineer with a robust background in metallurgical engineering. Currently, Adirek works at Horsehead Corporation, providing metallurgical technical support and participating in various processes such as zinc leaching and cadmium cementation since July 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a senior metallurgist at Electrometals, where Adirek oversaw the maintenance of laboratory instruments and conducted significant research on electrowinning. Adirek's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah, with a dissertation focused on nickel laterite ores, and prior roles as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant at the same institution. Adirek also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Thai Naval Academy and served as a lieutenant in the Royal Thai Navy, managing engineering operations and training technicians.
