Pedro Adolfo Braz is an experienced professional in the payments industry with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Head of Payments - Digital & Physical at Americanas S.A. since December 2013, Pedro oversees a significant payments operation exceeding BRL 20 billion annually, manages a diverse team across technology, finance, operations, and data, and maintains relationships with over 20 payments suppliers while reporting on key business metrics. Previous roles include Head of Payments - Digital, Payments Manager, Payments Coordinator, Payments Senior Analyst, and Payments Analyst at Americanas S.A., as well as Finance Trainee at Dufry and Investment Intern at Concórdia Asset Management. Pedro holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Industrial Engineering and a specialization in Risk Analysis & Entrepreneurship from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, as well as a Finance Certificate from COPPEAD UFRJ.
