Duane Lester

Duane Lester, CPTD, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Staff Training at Americans for Prosperity, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Lester held various roles at Grassroots Leadership Academy from December 2017 to October 2023, including Director of Issue Education and Strategic Director. From December 2015 to September 2019, Lester worked as Trainer Development Manager at Americans for Prosperity Foundation, focusing on training grassroots activists. Additional experience includes founding and editing The Missouri Torch, managing All American Blogger.com, and serving as Editor in Chief at Liberty News Network. Lester has also produced political web videos and has experience in various editorial roles, including columnist positions. Academic qualifications include an Associate of Arts in Horticulture from Des Moines Area Community College and training in Print and Broadcast Journalism at the Defense Information School.
