Jim Nussle currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of America's Credit Unions, with a mission to create an environment conducive to the success of credit unions. Nussle has held various leadership positions, including President and CEO of the National Credit Union Foundation and CUNA Strategic Services since 2014, and previously served as President and CEO of the Credit Union National Association until January 2024, advocating for 110 million credit union members. Prior to roles in the credit union sector, Nussle was President of Growth Energy and held significant governmental positions, including Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush and Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee. Nussle also spent 16 years as a Member of Congress representing Iowa's First and Second Congressional Districts and began their career as a firefighter and county attorney in Delaware County, Iowa. Educational qualifications include a JD from Drake University Law School and a liberal arts degree from Luther College, along with a Development Educator certification from the National Credit Union Foundation.
