Sarah Schnulo has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Sarah worked as a High School Science Teacher at St. Francis DeSales High School in 1992. From 1992 to 2001, Sarah was self-employed at Sarah's Custom Crafts, where they focused on creating unique items such as floral arrangements, window treatments, hand-painted artwork, clothing, murals, and woodworking.
In 2001, they joined Floral Art and Interiors as a Design Consultant, Custom Floral Designer, and Office Admin. Sarah'sresponsibilities included collaborating with the lead designer for private client interior design work, creating custom floral arrangements, and merchandising the retail showroom.
From 2002 to 2011, Sarah worked as the Design Gallery Manager at Romanelli and Hughes Custom Home Builder. In this role, they managed the Design Gallery Department, oversaw a team of up to four designers, and facilitated the selection of customized finishes for over 300 clients.
In 2011, Sarah started their own design services company, where they were self-employed until 2013. During this time, they provided design services to clients.
Since 2013, Sarah has been working at America's Floor Source. Sarah started as a Designer and later transitioned to the role of Director of Learning and Development. As the Director, their responsibilities include leading AFS University, aligning employee learning and development with company goals, providing eLearning on the AFSU LMS platform, and conducting instructor-led courses and webinar programs.
Throughout their career, Sarah has gained extensive experience in various design-related roles, including teaching, custom designing, and managing.
Sarah Schnulo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences Education from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. In July 2020, Sarah received certifications in Articulate 360: Interactive Learning and Foundations of Corporate Training from LinkedIn. Additionally, they became a Certified Professional Sales Advisor (CSA) through the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) in January 2020.
