Director Of The Tooele County Small Business Development Center at America's SBDC

Jess Clifford has had a diverse range of work experiences. From 2017 to present, Jess has held multiple roles with Tooele Technical College, including Director of SBDC and Institutional Development, where they were responsible for fundraising and cultivating relationships with stakeholders. They also served as the Custom Fit Grant Manager, connecting local businesses with training providers and managing a state fund to partially pay for those trainings. In 2017, Jess also served as the Director of The Tooele County Small Business Development Center for America's SBDC. From 2018 to 2019, Jess was a Business Mentor for SCORE Mentors. Prior to these roles, Jess worked as the President of Jess Clifford Marketologies, where they provided leadership training, consulting, and marketing services. They also held roles as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Coventry Health Care and as the President of Trilobyte Internet Services. Earlier in their career, Jess worked as a candidate for Clifford for State Legislature, LLC and as the Marketing Communications Manager for Happijac Company. They also owned Clifford Studios, where they provided various design and consulting services.

Jess Clifford received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Design from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In 1987 to 1988, Jess also attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, focusing on Design and Visual Communications. Furthermore, in 2013 to 2014, Jess participated in a program at Core Alignment Coaching - Katheryn Michels, earning certification as a Core Alignment Coaching Specialist (CAS) and Emotional Wisdom Trainer. This program focused on Personal Awareness, Self-Improvement, and Leadership Empowerment.
