Alana Horton

Alana Horton, PHR has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Alana is currently working as the HR Director of Global Development & Automation at Americold Logistics, LLC. Before joining Americold, they served as the Human Resources Director at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, where they were responsible for aligning people initiatives with business strategies. Alana also held the position of Director of Human Resources Operations for both the East and Southeast regions at Serta Simmons Bedding. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of HR at Acuity Brands and as an HR Manager at General Cable. Alana started their career as the Director of Admissions at Blue Cliff College and Senior Admissions Representative at Everest College.

Alana Horton, PHR, received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2006. Alana later pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, completing it in 2012. Alana is currently enrolled at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA, which is expected to be completed in 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, Alana has obtained various certifications including PHR, Certified DDI Facilitator, Lean Sigma Techniciain, Certified SafeStart Trainer, Change Manager, and HR as a Business Partner.
