Todd Slappey

Vice President, Internal Audit at Americold

Todd Slappey has extensive experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. TODD began their career at Wells Fargo in 1991, where they introduced risk-based audit methodologies and developed associated plans for banking operations in multiple states. TODD then joined PwC as a Project Manager, where they implemented risk assessment methodologies and led audit teams in the US, Latin America, and Europe. In 2001, they became Vice President and Regional Manager at Broniec Associates, before moving to Havertys Furniture in 2003 as Assistant Vice President, Audit Manager. At Havertys, they championed efforts to reengineer the Audit Department and develop a risk-based strategy to identify and test controls. In 2012, they joined Americold Logistics as Vice President, Internal Audit, leading the audit function and driving SOX compliance efforts. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Internal Audit at Republic National Distributing Company. Throughout their career, they have showcased a strong ability to manage teams and drive change in corporate governance and control-based environments.

Todd Slappey holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Auburn University. TODD also has additional certifications as a Certified Bank Auditor and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
