Sergio Elizondo

Sergio Elizondo, CTP, currently serves as the Director of Treasury & Cash Management at Amerigroup, a position held since July 2000. In this role, Sergio manages the Treasury department, overseeing all cash, investment, and liquidity management functions for the corporation and its 15 subsidiary entities. Responsibilities include administering bank documentation controls and developing departmental policies and operational procedures. Prior to this, Sergio held the role of Cash Management Manager at Amerigroup, where daily cash management activities were performed, determining available cash balances for investment. Sergio's career also includes experience as a Sr. Treasury Analyst at Capri Capital and as a Cash/Staff Accountant and Sr. Escrow Administrator. Sergio holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from the American University - Kogod School of Business, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
