Ulysses Lee

Ulysses Lee, JD, MPH, is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in health care law, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Senior Associate General Counsel at AmeriHealth Caritas since March 2023, Ulysses also owns the Lee Legal Group, a boutique law firm specializing in privacy, compliance, and government relations. Prior roles include General Counsel at AIM Specialty Health, New Jersey Voter Protection and Election Operations Director at DCCC, and Sr Associate General Counsel at UnitedHealth Group. Ulysses has a diverse background in legal counsel, having held positions at Benecard PBM and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and has also served on the board of the New Jersey Health Care Facilities Financing Authority. Ulysses began a legal career as the Chief Legal Officer for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, and has contributed to academia as a legal instructor at Virginia College. Ulysses holds an MPH from Columbia University, a JD from Howard University School of Law, a BA in Journalism from Rutgers University, and a webmaster certificate in Web Design from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
