Rob Smialek

Rob Smialek has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Rob began their career as an Analyst at Apollo Global Management LLC's US residential mortgage business, WMC. Rob then worked as a Regional Sales Manager in Business Development at GE Capital - GE Money Bank, FSB. After that, they joined Barclays PLC - EquiFirst as a Business Development professional for their US residential mortgage company. Rob then moved to Bank of America as a VP - Senior Trader in their IMS Correspondent Lending division. Later, they worked as the Director - Capital Markets at NewRez LLC, a mortgage lender subsidiary of Shellpoint Partners. Rob also served as an SVP - Capital Markets at B. Riley FBR, Inc., where they gained experience in wealth management services, equity research, investment banking, and fixed income sales and trading. Currently, they hold the position of SVP - Capital Markets at AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC.

Rob Smialek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Information Systems from Colorado State University from 1997 to 2001. Rob then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Management from Duquesne University from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Rob Smialek has obtained certifications such as the California Department of Real Estate Broker license, the Series 63 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Series 7 certification, also from FINRA.
