Juan Madariaga has had a long and successful career in engineering management. Juan began their career in 1972 as Engineering Manager at Saxon Business Products. Juan then moved to Gould Computer Systems Division in 1982, where they held the same role. In 1988, they joined Modular Computer Systems as Engineering Manager. From 1990 to 2010, they worked at GE, progressing from Process Improvement Manager- Engineering to Certified Six Sigma Black Belt- Project Manager to Manager, Engineering Services. In 2010, they joined United Technologies - Climate, Controls & Security as Project Manager - Engineering. Since 2013, they have been Chief Operating Officer at AmeriKooler Inc., where they are responsible for global operations, managing Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Industry Regulatory Compliance. Juan has also been involved in Strategic Planning for Product Development.
Juan Madariaga obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Heat Transfer from Florida International University between 1973 and 1975. Juan later obtained a Black Belt Certification from General Electric Co. in October 2004, and a Green Belt Certification from General Electric Co. in September 2004.
