James McGuane

James McGuane has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. James began their career as an Electrical Design Engineer at Louis Allis Motor Company, where they learned to design Synchronous and Induction machines and also designed field excitation controls. James then worked at P & H Mining Equipment, where they designed DC and Induction motors for mining equipment and developed shop processes. At TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company, James served as a Senior Design Engineer, designing large specialty motors for various industrial projects. James also led a team as the DC Team Leader, designing large DC motors for the steel and propulsion industries. James then joined National Oilwell Varco as a Senior Project Engineer, responsible for the design and manufacture of all Induction motors. James successfully led a project team to create a commercial Induction motor business. Before their current position, James worked at Halliburton as a Project Manager, primarily managing new technology development within Wire Line downhole tools. James was also responsible for the specification, procurement, and aftermarket support of motors within wireline. Currently, James is the Vice President of Engineering at Amerimex Motor and Controls, Inc.

James McGuane earned a Bachelor's degree in Science Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Energy from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, attending from 2007 to 2009.
