Dasha Capps

Dasha Capps has over 15 years of experience in audit and compliance roles within the banking industry. Starting as an Internal Auditor at VyStar Credit Union in 2005, they worked their way up to roles such as IT Auditor at EverBank and Senior Internal Auditor at Community First Credit Union. Dasha then transitioned to Citi, where they held positions such as VP of Audit Manager and AML Governance & Control Manager. Currently, they serve as the SVP and Senior Audit Manager at Ameris Bank. Their expertise lies in IT audit, internal audit, and audit project management.

Dasha Capps completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting at Boise State University from 1995 to 2001. Dasha then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information Systems at Boise State University from 2003 to 2004. Later, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of North Florida from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their academic degrees, Dasha has obtained various certifications related to financial services, information systems auditing, internal auditing, public accounting, and risk management assurance.
