Shyam Kandavalli

Shyam Kandavalli is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading core technology and development initiatives across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Core Technology & Development at Ameris Bank, Shyam oversees the modernization and innovation of core banking, corporate functions, and digital platforms while managing technology budgets and vendor relationships. Prior roles include Vice President positions at U.S. Bank, where Shyam drove digital transformation and operational efficiencies, and Elavon, Inc., focused on global finance and technology impacts. Shyam also accumulated significant experience at AT&T in business intelligence and application development, as well as earlier roles at Lockheed Martin and Accelerated Solutions Inc., demonstrating a strong background in systems analysis and technology consulting. Shyam holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
