Edward Sowers, Jr., CSP, CHSP, has extensive experience in risk management and safety consulting, currently serving as a Risk Management Service Specialist for Amerisure Insurance since July 2012, where responsibilities include managing coordinated risk management services for large, multi-location accounts and marketing these services. Prior roles at Amerisure include serving as a Risk Management Expertise Specialist focused on healthcare, and a Risk Management Specialist, building on a foundation established as a Senior Loss Control Consultant. Previous to Amerisure, Edward held safety management positions at Stericycle and AIG, achieving significant premium management and loss ratio successes. Earlier experience includes overseeing safety programs for multiple organizations, including roles at Royal & SunAlliance and ManagedComp. Edward holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Hygiene Management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
