Michelle Yu

Michelle Yu is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Ameritas since December 2021, Michelle designs and develops reports and visualizations while providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to BI best practices. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at DOWNLITE, where responsibilities included administering the Power BI platform and conducting analytical sessions with business leaders. Michelle also held the position of Business Intelligence Developer at The Hillman Group, focusing on training and support for Power BI users. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in Education from The Ohio State University.
