Rasika Withanawasam

Rasika Withanawasam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and academia. Currently serving as the Chief Architect for Surveillance/Analytics Systems within Market Infrastructure Technology at LSEG, Rasika has played a pivotal role in defining system architecture and technology strategies for Millennium Surveillance™ and Millennium Analytics™ products. In parallel, Rasika contributes to education as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa and previously as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Ruhuna. Additional experience includes a role as a Software Developer at Dunedin Hospital, a Research Assistant at the University of Otago, and various tutoring positions in information science and business at the same university. Rasika holds a PhD in Information Science from the University of Otago and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
