Sean Chen, MBA, MSIS, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sean is currently the Chief Investment Officer at AmeriTrust Group, Inc., a position they have held since January 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Wellington Management from April 2011 to 2017, where they served as a Multi-Asset Analyst/ Global Multi-Asset Strategies/ Portfolio Management. From June 2007 to April 2011, they worked at State Street as a Global Macro Strategist, and prior to that, they were a Global Macro Research Associate (Senior Intern) at the same company. Sean also had a brief stint as a Research Intern at Putnam Investments from October 2006 to February 2007. Before moving into the finance industry, Sean worked as a Project Manager at eTrunk Technologies, Inc. from September 2001 to October 2003. Sean also served as a Lieutenant in the Weapons Corp. of the Infantry Division in the Army of the Republic of China (Taiwan) from October 1999 to June 2001. Sean began their career as a Research Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company's Greater China Office from July 1999 to October 1999. Sean also co-founded and worked as a consultant at INTUMIT, Inc. from September 1998 to September 1999.
Sean Chen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, with concentrations in Finance and Strategy. Sean also holds a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from the same institution. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Sean completed their undergraduate education at National Taiwan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Political Science.
