Peter J. Pran

Peter J. Pran's work experience includes a variety of roles in different companies. Peter J. has been the Director at Amesto Fortytwo since 2022. Prior to that, they were the COO at Amesto Firstpoint AS starting in October 2017 until May 2022. At Amesto, they worked on creating and hosting innovative IT solutions based on Microsoft Azure, O365, Teams, and Power BI. Peter J. also served as the Chair of the Chart Committee at CNITA from October 2015 to September 2017. In this role, they chaired committee meetings, drove progress on industry issues, collaborated and lobbied on behalf of members, and implemented necessary organizational changes. Before that, they held various positions at Nautisk, including Head of Global Sales, Project Manager, and Sales Executive, with responsibilities such as building sales pipelines, developing new business, providing input to software development, and implementing CRM systems. Additionally, they were the Chairman of the Board at Sivlesgate 14 AS from June 2011 to April 2013 and served as a Navigations Officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy and the US Navy.

Peter J. Pran has a Bachelor's degree in Leadership and nautical studies from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. In 2016, they attended an Executive Course on Leading the Effective Sales Force at INSEAD. Peter J. also completed an Executive Course on Sustainability as Competitive Advantage at BI Norwegian Business School in 2020. In 2008, Peter took an Introduction to Social Economics course at the University of Bergen (UiB). Prior to their university education, they attended Oslo Handelsgymnasium from 2001 to 2003, where they focused on Artium Economics and Administration. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Grunnkurs Personvern from Visma Draftit - Norge in November 2022 and NSM Grunnprinsipper for IKT-sikkerhet from Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet in October 2022.
