Manfred Hayk

Manfred Hayk has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Manfred began their career at Mesacon GmbH, where they worked as part of a study program. Manfred then joined Raith GmbH as an Application Engineer before moving on to Optikzentrum NRW as a Development Engineer.

In 1998, Manfred joined OptiSense GmbH & Co. KG, where they worked as a Development Engineer. Their responsibilities included the development and construction of laser optical measuring devices for non-contact paint layer thickness measurement. Manfred was also involved in sales, marketing, and documentation.

In 2002, Manfred started working at IMPAC Infrared GmbH (later merged with LumaSense Technologies GmbH) as a Regional Sales Manager and Application Engineer. This role involved sales and technical support for infrared products.

From 2011 to 2013, Manfred worked at LumaSense Technologies GmbH as a Management Application, Sales, and Customer Support professional, specializing in temperature measurement and thermal imaging.

Manfred's experience in the field of infrared technology continued at InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik, where they worked as a Project Manager and Area Sales Manager. Manfred later joined MHI Infrarotsysteme und Messtechnik as part of the DIAS Infrared GmbH team.

In 2014, Manfred joined Ametek Taylor Hobson Ltd. as a Vertriebsingenieur Area Sales Manager for the Nord/West Deutschland NRW/NL region. Manfred then transitioned to AMETEK Land (Land Instruments International), where they held various roles, including Business Development Manager, Global Infrared Product Manager, and their current position as Head of Product Management for the LAND AMETEK Process Measurement & Inspection (PM&I) Business Unit since 2024.

Manfred Hayk attended Fachhochschule Südwestfalen from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Physikalische Technik / Lasertechnik und optische Messtechnik. Prior to that, they attended Fachoberschule Unna from 1988 to 1989, where they obtained a Fachabitur in Elektrotechnik. Manfred also underwent a vocational training program in Physiklaborant Facharbeiter at Universität Dortmund from 1985 to 1988. Manfred obtained a certification in Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Physikalische Technik from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen in 1994.
