Don Lauder

Don Lauder is an experienced technician and musician with a diverse background in electronics and music. Currently serving as a Repair Technician III at AMETEK Programmable Power since July 2023, Don previously held various roles, including Guitar Technician at Guitar Tune Up: San Diego and RMA Receiving Coordinator II at Kontron Americas. With over 20 years of experience as a bass player in heavy metal and thrash metal genres, proficiency in both 4-string and 5-string bass guitars is notable. Additionally, Don co-founded Effects Boutique, an online retailer specializing in high-end guitar and bass effect pedals. A strong foundation in technical support and software analysis was established through multiple contracts at Intuit, alongside previous roles at ICU Medical and Kontron, where component-level repair and project support demonstrated essential skills.
