Jim Benton

Jim Benton possesses extensive experience in engineering, manufacturing, and leadership roles within the industrial sector. Currently serving as the EHS and Facilities Manager at AMETEK Programmable Power since November 2015, Jim focuses on monitoring and improving workplace safety and environmental compliance. Previous positions include Customer Service Manager and Lean Manufacturing Engineer at the same organization, where responsibilities involved managing repair operations and leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives. Jim also held the position of Manufacturing Manager/GM at California Precision Products Inc. and served as Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at AMETEK Programmable Power, alongside a lengthy tenure as Vice President of Operations at Benton & Sons Inc. Contractors. Educational qualifications stem from various programs between 2000 and 2010, as well as studies at Grossmont College and completion of high school at Patrick Henry High.
