David Larson

David Larson has extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology and scientific research sectors. Currently serving as Director at Ametek since 2010, David has previously held the position of Sr. Director at Imago Scientific Instruments from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, David worked as a Staff Engineer at Seagate Technology from 1999 to 2004 and as a Staff Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from August 1998 to July 1999. David's early career also includes a role as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Oxford from August 1997 to July 1998. David earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where studies took place from 1990 to 1996.
