Thomas A. Amato

Thomas serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of TriMas Corporation, a diversified, global manufacturer of engineered products. Prior to joining TriMas in 2016, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Metaldyne, LLC from 2009 through 2015. He also served as Co-President and Chief Integration Officer of Metaldyne Performance Group from 2014 through 2015. Prior to that, he served in various senior management and corporate development positions at Metaldyne Corp., TriMas, MascoTech, and Imperial Chemical Industries.

Thomas currently serves as Director for TriMas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Wayne State University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
