Matt Cole

Matt Cole is an experienced Technical Director currently seconded to Manchester Metrolink, where impactful roles have included Principal Engineer, Head of Engineering and Asset Management, and Head of Digital, Signalling & Telecommunications. With a focus on data-led approaches and engineering assurance, Matt has successfully lobbied for internal projects, ensured asset safety across the network, and represented maintenance and engineering teams in setting industry standards. Previous roles in Cultura Technologies and Amey include Customer Care Manager and Support Services Manager, demonstrating a strong background in software support and project management. Matt holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Computing from The Open University.
