Samantha Schofield

Samantha Schofield is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health, safety, environment, and quality management. Currently serving as the Head of HSEQ (Environment & Sustainability) and Environmental Business Partner at Amey since April 2013, Samantha provides vital support to operational business directors across various sectors, including highways and rail. Prior to this role, Samantha held positions such as Business Support Manager at A-one+, contributing to business development and sustainability efforts, and Systems Manager at AMScott, where responsibilities included maintaining ISO certifications and offering expertise in integrated management systems. Earlier experience includes roles as Environment Manager and Environmental Coordinator at AMScott and Scottish Power Generation UK, respectively, where compliance with environmental regulations was a key focus. Samantha holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management for Business and Commerce from Sheffield Hallam University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool.
