Steve Nargang, PE, HCC has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and building engineering services. Steve currently serves as the Regional Vice President of MidWest Operations at Hammes, where they specialize in facility development, project management, and owner's representation for healthcare facility capital projects. As the President of AMFP Chicago - Association of Medical Facility Professionals Chicago Chapter, Steve leads a forum for owners and healthcare provider leadership to share ideas and shape the future of medical facilities. Steve previously held positions as a Principal at TLC Engineering Solutions and Gage Consulting Engineers, where they provided project development and management services in major markets including healthcare, education, and government. Steve also has experience in alumni association leadership as the Chairman of IIT Chicagoland Alumni and Director of Communications at SMPS Chicago. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Regional Manager and Design Engineering Project Manager at Simpson Technologies Corporation.
Steve Nargang, PE, HCC holds a Professional Engineer (PE), Illinois License from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied Mechanical Engineering from 1999 to 2000. Steve also earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 1996. Prior to their college education, Steve attended Bolingbrook High School. In addition to their academic achievements, Steve has obtained certifications as a Licensed Private Pilot from the FAA and as a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Illinois IDFPR.
