George Parthmer

George Parthmer, MEng, CSP, CHMM has extensive work experience in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). George Parthmer, started their career as a Coordinator at Standard Concrete Products in 2001 and later became the Manager for EHS. In 2008, they joined Eaton as the Manager for EHS and then transitioned into the role of Regional Director for Safety and Compliance at Airgas in 2012. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Corporate Director for Safety at Irvine Company. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President for Sustainability and EHS at AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V.

George Parthmer has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations and Economics from Penn State University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. George Parthmer, also has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Widener University Schools of Law, earned from 2001 to 2004. Furthermore, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from York College of Pennsylvania, completed between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, George pursued further education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they acquired a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management from 2015 to 2017. George Parthmer, has additional certifications such as ASC from the National Safety Council, CHMM from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and OHST from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
