Edwige Gros

Edwige Gros, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Amgen, with a tenure beginning in February 2019. Prior to this role, Edwige served as a Senior Scientist to Associate Director at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., from October 2011 to February 2019, focusing on CAR-T development for solid tumors and the validation of high-throughput cell-based assays for antibody candidates. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, UCSD School of Medicine, where a peptide-based strategy for mRNA delivery was designed, and a graduate research associate position at CRBM - CNRS UMR 5237, exploring interfacial peptides as HIV-1 inhibitors. Edwige's academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical and Biological Sciences for Health from the University of Montpellier II and a Master’s degree in Genetics, Immunology & Differentiation from University Claude Bernard Lyon I.
