Mariam Girguis

Mariam Girguis is an experienced professional in the field of epidemiology and environmental health. Currently serving as the Observational Research Senior Manager at Amgen since September 2019, Mariam has previously held the position of Observational Research Manager. Prior to joining Amgen, Mariam worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Southern California, focusing on measurement error in machine learning models, spatial epidemiology, and health effects related to neighborhood exposure mixtures. Mariam began a doctoral fellowship in Environmental Epidemiology at UC Irvine, where a Doctor of Philosophy was earned in 2016. Additionally, a Master of Public Health in Chronic Disease Epidemiology was obtained from the Yale School of Public Health in 2012, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Geography from UCLA in 2009.
