Rohini Deshpande

Rohini Deshpande is an experienced professional currently serving as Vice President of Operations Obesity at Amgen since 1997, with a rich background in various leadership roles including Vice President of Drug Substance Technologies and Vice President of Process Development. Expertise encompasses leading global Attribute Sciences for large and small molecule process development across multiple sites, as well as developing strategic approaches for mammalian cell line development. Prior to joining Amgen, Rohini Deshpande held postdoctoral fellow positions at UCLA and the University of Michigan. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biology from Binghamton University, an M.S. in Medical Microbiology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a B.S. in Science from Osmania University.
