Steve Pasternak

Steve Pasternak is an experienced operations leader in the field of automation and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Operations IS at Amgen since December 2022. Previously, Steve held the position of Principal Consultant at Emerson Automation Solutions, where responsibilities included developing solutions for complex automation challenges within the Global Life Sciences organization. At Takeda, Steve was the Associate Director of Engineering, overseeing the process automation department for a Plasma Fractionation GMP manufacturing facility. Steve also has a significant background at Amgen as Principal Engineer, leading engineering project design and automation operations. Early career experience includes roles at Invensys, Automation Vision Inc., and The Foxboro Company. Steve holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
