Yao Yuan

Yao Yuan is a seasoned epidemiologist specializing in cancer research, currently serving as a Senior Cancer Epidemiologist at Syapse since October 2021. In addition, Yao holds the position of Scientific Program Manager at the National Cancer Institute, where responsibilities include managing data acquisition projects for the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Result program and conducting data analysis. Yao's research experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on quantitative data analysis of health disparities, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where Yao developed and managed research projects and established molecular assays. Yao Yuan earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins and a PhD in Immunology from Rutgers University, complemented by a Master's degree in Medical Clinical Sciences from New York Medical College.
