Yuko M.

Yuko M. is currently serving as Clinical Research Medical Director at Amgen, focusing on the Inflammation Therapeutic Area with an emphasis on biologics in pulmonology and immunology since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Shionogi Inc., where Yuko held positions of Senior Medical Director and Medical Director, leading clinical development and serving as Global Medical Lead for successful cefiderocol studies targeting antibiotic-resistant infections. Earlier, Yuko was Associate Medical Director at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., managing clinical development in various disease areas, and gained research experience as a Post-doctoral Scholar in Epidemiology at Tufts University and a Researcher at Harvard School of Public Health. Yuko is an MBA candidate at Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in quantitative methods.
