Lydia Meehan

Lydia Meehan is an experienced exhibitions manager and project manager with a strong background in arts and cultural engagement. Currently serving as Exhibitions Manager and Exhibitions Project Manager at Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales, Lydia previously held the role of Producer for Programmes and Engagement at Welsh National Opera, where Lydia successfully led the Sanctuary programme to enhance engagement with diverse groups of sanctuary seekers. Additional experience includes project coordination for Refugee Wales at Amgueddfa Cymru, consultancy for exhibition planning at The Open University Wales, and roles focused on arts integration and community engagement at Oasis Cardiff and Wales Millennium Centre. Lydia possesses a Master's degree in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
