Cassidy Maher

Cassidy Maher is an Associate Software Engineer at Capital One, engaged in a six-month coding intensive program to develop essential software engineering skills, with plans to join the Technology Development Program thereafter. Concurrently, Cassidy serves as a Statistics and Data Science Fellow at Amherst College, spearheading a project to create a Shiny interface for tracking graduate outcomes. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Intern at both Columbia University School of Nursing and the Mailman School of Public Health, focusing on HIV risk perceptions among women, and a Researcher at the University of Auckland, developing a data analysis software module for high school education. Cassidy also interned with Reader To Reader, Inc., and worked as a host/server while in high school, along with serving as a Site Supervisor and referee for the Granville Recreation Commission. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Amherst College and a high school diploma from Granville High School.
