Gretchen Sisson serves as a sociologist at the Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) program at the University of California, San Francisco, since December 2012, focusing on evidence-based reproductive health care and policy. In addition, Sisson is a current member of the Board of Trustees at Amherst College since July 2023 and co-founded the Abortion Bridge Collaborative Fund in March 2018, which provides rapid response funding for abortion care infrastructure. Sisson also serves on the Board of Directors for WDN Action and Emerge America, both organizations dedicated to promoting equity and representation in advocacy and politics. Previous experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for All-Options from September 2012 to September 2018. Sisson holds a PhD in Sociology from Boston College and a BA in Psychology and Gender Studies from Amherst College.
